I believe…

that early relationships are a great foundation for secure attachments, helping us to build a kinder society.

Originally an artist and stage designer, my life took an unexpected turn after the birth of my second baby in 2006. I believe each child brings us a ‘gift’, and my new role came from my youngest when he was born prematurely. While tired and emotionally vulnerable, I had to suddenly negotiate the world of feeding and caring for a baby in NICU. I was often given conflicting advise that just didn’t add up. Luckily, I came across a wonderful IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) who changed my story. This was incredibly important to me, and it was this experience that led me to change my career. I gain so much pleasure from working with clients at this transformative time, helping them to feel heard, and at the centre of their care.

I still love the Arts, and have a passion for travel, often going on family adventures across the world - with highlights including volcano boarding, and breastfeeding down one of the biggest, deepest caves in Central America!

I will put you at the centre of all the care I offer.

After years of experience working with babies and families, I can explain how your body works. My approach is evidence-based, however I know that ‘normal’ has many different shades.

Having worked as an infant feeding specialist in several central London hospitals, I know first-hand how confusing, and overwhelming too much information can be. I like to keep it simple, explaining what you want to know in terms that help you understand and appreciate your body and your baby.
